"Embracing Cozy Calm: Restoring the Cottage After Halloween"

The days may have turned crisp and bright as Blair Cottage settled back into its warm, inviting norm after the delightful Halloween festivities.

I truly wish to showcase my home from last year when Blair Cottage celebrated Halloween for the first time. This I shall do in either a separate page or post. It's going to be a big one. 

Last year the wonderful residents of Crowland truly embraced my Halloween decorations, and quite a few had already inquired about when I’ll be adorning the cottage with my Christmas décor. Their enthusiasm warmed my heart, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of excitement at the thought of the upcoming festivities.

What had I gotten myself into? It seems I’d set a precedent for seasonal decorating at Blair Cottage, and now I find myself immersed in the delightful hustle of holiday preparations all year round.

Luckily, I’ve always had a penchant for dressing up my mums home for Halloween, Christmas, and Easter, so dressing my first own home up, Blair Cottage for these festivities, was always going to happen also!

It does appears I may need to consider adding Valentine's Day to the roster! Though, I must admit, the thought of an extra holiday might add a sprinkle of stress to the mix—ah, the joys of being a proud home decorator!

As I pondered the seasons that lay ahead, my mind drifted to the many cherished traditions that define a quintessentially British home. 

Warm, rustic furniture, soft textiles, and lovingly curated antiques create a cozy atmosphere that invites everyone in, making it a true haven. From the flicker of candles in the cottage, to the delightful scent of fresh wax melts-my favourite being the 'ScentSationals' range.

Once the dust settles and the frazzle fades, I’ll dust off my decorating hat and let my imagination run wild once more. The promise of the upcoming festivities of Christmas is as thrilling as it is delightful, and I’m ready to transform Blair Cottage into a sparkling beacon of seasonal cheer for Christmas, for the very first time. 

Until then, a little rest and reflection will do me well, and I’ll enjoy the beauty of my home in its lovely, unadorned state for a little while longer.
