"Charming Elegance: Celebrating VE Day at Blair Cottage – A Vintage Haven of Floral Beauty and Timeless Decor"

Blair Cottage is all aglow with delightful decorations in anticipation of VE Day tomorrow, and I’ve ensured it will continue to radiate charm throughout the weekend for our special 'Party in the Park' celebration.

In my window boxes, the real plants—a beautiful mix of red and white—will soon be in full bloom. I just purchased them last weekend from the enchanting Baytrees garden center, so they are not yet in bloom, which is ashame. 

In the meantime, I’ve adorned the space with artificial roses, which lend a timeless romance to the cottage's façade.

If you know me well, you’ll understand my passion for decorating. Even when still living at home with my mumma bear, I'd decorate for every occasion.

My beloved cottage, now also gets dressed up for every occasion—from the spooky charm of Halloween to the festive spirit of Christmas and the joyful hues of Easter.

Living right on the main high street grants me the perfect platform to share in the community celebrations, making VE Day a must for my traditional cottage decorations.

I was thrilled by the lovely comments from passersby, and, despite the breezy conditions on the day I set everything out, my decorations held steadfast, adding a warm and inviting touch to our quaint street. The blend of vintage flair and floral beauty truly reflects the essence of a classic home, evoking a sense of nostalgia and community spirit.
