"Elevating Laundry Day: Discovering the Charm of Clothesmaid"

There’s an enchanting charm in the timeless ritual of hanging fresh, crisp laundry on a line to dry, especially in a delightful cottage garden setting.

Just imagine sunbeams dancing upon white sheets, their bright fabric fluttering gently in the cool breeze—each billow carrying the comforting scents of fabric conditioner and detergent, creating a fragrant atmosphere that envelops the garden.

I find such joy in doing a load of washing, particularly when it’s my soft white bedding, gleaming in the sunlight and fresh as the dew on the morning grass. It’s a quintessentially British pastime that brings a sense of serenity and satisfaction.

When hanging my washing out, there is only one brand to use. Clothesmaid! 

Clothesmaid truly embodies the essence of a quaint, rustic lifestyle, and I feel like it was made just for me! I’ve set my sights on the delightful 'Kitchen shelf,' the charming 'Victorian hanging clothes airer,' and 'The Wood-y.' 

My vision is to install a lovely hanging pulley clothes airer above the bathtub, seamlessly blending functionality with a touch of traditional cottage charm. It’s a must-have for my bathroom decor, giving it that quintessential British countryside feel.

There’s also an enchanting 'wooden range airer' that I can imagine perfectly positioned in front of the log burner during the chilly months, allowing me to dry clothes while surrounded by warmth and comfort.

This website 'Clothesmaid' is like a dream come true! I've transformed my garden by replacing my old rusty rotary line with a beautiful washing line that stretches across the grass, creating an inviting space filled with gorgeous wooden wash poles. No plastic here; we’re opting for natural, rustic beauty in every detail!

And speaking of natural beauty, my new orange check picnic blanket and lace picnic blankets arrived yesterday. Although they haven’t been washed yet, I simply had to air them out on the line today. Letting them flutter gently in the breeze will help smooth out those pesky creases from packaging, all while adding a touch of floral elegance to my country home.

This is the kind of life I envision—filled with beautiful flowers, natural decor, and the charm of a cozy country retreat.

Also when it comes to my choice of detergent, I adore the Spanish brand 'Asevi.' Their 'Marseille Soap' is my absolute favourite, and paired with the 'Concentrated Fabric Softener Hypoallergenic Soft Pink'—which to me smells just like gentle baby powder—it’s the ultimate indulgence in a bottle.

My mum might think I'm a little eccentric when it comes to my laundry routine, but I believe it’s the little details that make a difference. I pour detergent and conditioner into the washing machine’s compartments but wouldn’t dream of stopping there. I also add wash pods, scented bead boosters, and a splash of liquid detergent into the bottles cap—often the Tesco own brand—into the drum. 

When I’m out of booster beads, I’ll reach for the 'Comfort Botanical Scent Booster Elixir Heavenly Fresh,' which brings such an intoxicating fragrance to each wash.

The shelves in my kitchen are brimming with these delightful concoctions; one side dedicated to laundry essentials while the other hosts an assortment of household cleaning treasures. I take great pride in keeping my home immaculate, filled with fresh, divine scents.

For my cleaning needs, I turn to Zoflora and Asevi, with the 'Asevi Concentrated Floor Cleaner Liquid Cian' being a particular favourite. It’s perfect for all wooden surfaces and safe for my beloved pets.

On some days, I might even fill a spray bottle with this lovely cleaner to spritz around my living space—on carpets, sofas, and cushions—creating an atmosphere that is both refreshing and inviting. It is a very strong scent, which I simply adore! Yes it is to be used on flooring, however whenever I use it on my fabrics, like my curtains or sofas, it does not leave any marks or stains. Instead what I'm left with, is the beautiful aroma of the 'Cian' scent

So there we have it, my little ritual when it comes to doing my laundry and the products I use. 

To many, this may seem like a tedious, ordinary chore, but to me, it’s an absolute delight! The charming scent of freshly washed clothes, the sight of them dancing gently on the line, and the subtle aroma of my favorite fragrances lingering in the cottage—it all combines into a symphony of bliss.

With my current back injury, I can't quite tackle the deep clean I crave for my quaint sanctuary just yet. However, when the time comes, I cherish every moment spent cleaning and reviving my home!

Every single item, piece of furniture, every cherished ornament in my cottage, is treated with utmost care, polished, and dusted to perfection. I lovingly wipe down table tops counters and clean the log burner out with antibacterial spray, followed by a spritz of my beloved Asevi products, leaving the air infused with freshness.

I wouldn't say it's an obsession; rather, it’s a heartfelt passion for cleanliness and ensuring my home radiates that inviting, fresh aroma.

It may take me a few hours to achieve my desired level of tidiness, as I tend to be quite particular. Some might call me a perfectionist—but that's simply who I am.

In my charming cottage, the warmth of wooden floors echoes the beauty of traditional living. These polished surfaces, which seem to gleam with character, require diligent care—regular hoovering and the gentle touch of my brush, along with my collection of beloved lotions and potions.

Only two rooms offer the soft embrace of carpet—the snug retreat, perfect for curling up with a good book, and the smaller of the bedrooms, a peaceful haven. 

I share my home with Clara Bell, my delightful cat, whose enchanting fluff finds its way into every corner. And then there's Hamish, my dear dog, who often comes to visit. With my long hair adding to the delightful chaos, it’s as if my cottage doubles as a blend between a hair salon and a pet grooming haven!

I also often leave the patio door open during the day, inviting the gentle breeze to carry in petals from the garden and leaves that dance upon the air. 

This means regular attention to my wooden floors, a task that can be time-consuming—especially with stairs that demand the same level of care. 

But once I complete this ritual, I’m rewarded with floors that sparkle and a home filled with the comforting scent of Asevi, creating an ambiance that feels both elegant and cozy, enveloping my cottage in a delightful embrace that reflects my love for beauty and tradition.

Once the cleaning and tidying are complete, there’s something indescribably rewarding about finally settling down in my clean haven, surrounded by the glow of candlelight and snug in my pyjamas.

It feels like a comforting embrace in my sanctuary, a space filled with quintessentially British country charm, rustic furniture, and the vibrant beauty of floral decor. No feeling quite compares to this serene moment!
