"Maximizing Candle Use: Transforming Leftover Wax into Delightful Wax Melts"
Have you ever found yourself with a beautiful large candle that, once burned down, leaves a significant amount of unmelted wax remaining? Instead of tossing it aside, I like to transform my leftover wax into delightful little treasures that breathe warmth into my home.
I carefully use a knife (a simple butter knife will do) be careful not to crack the glass of the candle holder however, it also does not matter if you scratch the glass of the candle holder either if you are going to be discarding it anyway.
Carefully cut out the remnants of the left over wax around the sides, and then slice them into smaller chunks to use as wax melts for the oil burner. The result is an abundance of fragrant pieces that fill my cozy cottage with an enchanting aroma of the previous candle.
Essentially getting my moneys worth!
At the moment, I’m enjoying a fresh eucalyptus scent from a lovely candle I picked up at Aldi, and it truly elevates the ambiance of my rustic haven.
Aldi’s candles are both exquisitely fragrant and delightfully strong, making them ideal for creating a serene atmosphere in my bathroom. They not only exude a divine scent but also cast a warm, inviting glow, allowing me to forgo the harsh overhead lights.
There’s something so peaceful and relaxing about embracing the simple pleasures life has to offer, and the glow of a candle paired with the scent of eucalyptus burning of the wax as it melts, feels just right in my cottage, even more so, whilst I soak in my roll top bath, adorned with bath salts and flower petals.
Warmly, Lindsay Blair
